For those passionate about Amazon's Private Brands business, the Sourcing Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into data, collaborate with global suppliers, identify process improvement opportunities, and design scalable, long‑term solutions. Working alongside product development, quality assurance, operations, transportation, and customer service teams, you'll execute and continuously improve best practices in Global Sourcing.
This role touches nearly every aspect of Amazon's worldwide operations—including retail, legal, product compliance, transportation, tax, treasury, accounting, graphic design, customer service, and public relations. You'll manage the end-to-end global sourcing process: product planning, vendor/item setup and maintenance, pricing, packaging, assortment planning, and vendor relationship management.
The ideal candidate thrives in a demanding yet collegial, team‑oriented environment. Domestic and international travel may be required.
Key job responsibilities- Develop and execute category vendor management and sourcing strategies in alignment with business objectives
- Drive continuous cost optimization through strategic negotiations and supply chain efficiency initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive supplier evaluation, selection, and performance management
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class product development
- Identify process defects and develop scalable solutions to accelerate Private Label business growth
- Collaborate with teams to enhance business management tools and improve vendor productivity
- Manage vendor relationships across multiple product categories and geographies
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or operations experience
- 5+ years of negotiations and vendor management experience
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the fashion industry
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Experience with SQL
