The MEL Intern will support the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning department in the Data Centralization initiative under the supervision of the MEL Project Management. This initiative aims to centralise project‑related data, ensure accurate data collection, entry, and storage. A primary focus will be updating the project database records, organising deliverables and entering new project information into the upgraded CRM.
Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with relevant staff to gather project‑related data.
- Identify and fill gaps in the project database starting from 1999, ensuring all historical data is accurately recorded.
- Assist in data migration and input of new project information into the upgraded CRM system.
- Maintain data quality and accuracy by cross‑referencing entries and ensuring compliance with standard formats.
- Organise and maintain centralised data repositories (e.g., MS SharePoint, One Drive).
- Support in updating performance measurement frameworks and other relevant documents based on centralised data.
- Help prepare progress updates on data centralisation efforts.
- Work with Program and Project Leaders to understand project data requirements and ensure all necessary data is centralised.
- Provide technical support for staff transitioning to the new data management system.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the MEL Project Management Specialist.
NOTE - Monthly Stipend - AED 1,000
The candidate should currently be available in the UAE with a valid UAE residency.
Qualifications and Experience- Pursuing/completed University Degree in a related subject (e.g., Data Sciences, International Relations, Social Sciences, or Program Evaluation). Proficiency in data management will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage data accurately.
- Proficiency in computer programmes and tools, particularly MS Excel, MS SharePoint, One Drive, etc.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
