With our business growing rapidly both in UAE and abroad, we are looking for a Manager Business Excellence to join our Engineering & Design team, reporting to the Director - Business Excellence . The Business Excellence Manager is accountable for driving, embedding, and governing business excellence, process effectiveness, and operational governance across Engineering & Development (E&D).
The role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, business processes, and performance mechanisms, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across functions. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders, the role translates strategic objectives into executable governance and process improvements that enhance delivery, accountability, and decision‑making. Some of the key accountabilities are:
Business Excellence & Governance Leadership- Support in the implementation, governance, and continuous enhancement of business excellence frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures across E&D.
- Proactively identify governance gaps, operational risks, and inefficiencies, driving corrective actions and management escalation where required.
- Act as a central coordination and integration point between Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, TPMO, Risk, and Compliance.
- Partner with functional leaders to align governance, processes, and reporting with delivery and strategic priorities.
- Own and drive process mapping, optimisation, and standardisation initiatives across E&D functions.
- Lead process reviews to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce handoffs, and improve cycle times and decision clarity.
- Define governance structures, milestones, success metrics, and reporting for assigned initiatives.
- Track delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely intervention and escalation.
- Own coordination of budget tracking, cost governance, and variance analysis for business excellence and improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain performance dashboards that provide leadership with clear, decision-oriented insights.
- Lead the development of management dashboards, performance reports, and governance packs for senior leadership, ExCo, and Audit Committee reviews.
- Translate data into insights, trends, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
- Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, PMP, or similar certifications preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in business excellence, process management, governance, or operational improvement roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
