Cargo Charter & Product Development Manager

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To lead, plan, and manage flydubai Cargo’s charter business and product development strategy, by designing and implementing freighter-specific products, managing end-to-end charter operations to ensure profitability, service excellence, and market competitiveness, enhancing operational coordination, and customer engagement to position flydubai Cargo as a reliable and flexible freighter operator across global markets.

• Leads and manages all cargo charter and ad-hoc operations, ensuring commercial feasibility, operational readiness, and profitability.
• Implements and supports the development of freighter cargo products, ensuring alignment with market demand and operational capabilities.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with key charter brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to generate repeat and high-value charter business.
• Coordinates with Freighter Planning, Operations Control, and Engineering to assess aircraft and network availability for charter and special product requests.
• Prepares business cases and pricing models for charter flights and new product launches in collaboration with Pricing, Capacity Management, and Finance teams.
• Supports the creation of product‑specific SOPs and SLAs, ensuring alignment with IATA, GCAA, and CEIV standards for special cargo handling.
• Monitors and evaluates charter and product performance, including load factors, yields, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborates with Sales and Marketing to define go‑to‑market strategies, promotional campaigns, and product collateral for key customers and trade events.
• Drives digital and process innovation, including the use of automation tools, quotation systems, and product‑specific digital solutions.
• Ensures coordination between Commercial, Operations, and Quality teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient product and charter performance across all freighter services.

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 6 years of experience in airline cargo product management, charter operations, or commercial development, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of freighter operations, aircraft capability, and cargo handling standards.

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day‑to‑day business operations.
