We are looking for a sharp, analytical Strategy Analyst to support the definition and execution of business strategy. This role provides rigorous analysis, insight and decision support across growth opportunities, portfolio choices and investment priorities, helping leadership make informed, fact-based decisions in a scaling organisation. In a lean, scaling organisation, this role goes beyond analysis to help shape strategic narratives, draft priorities and translate ambition into a coherent set of initiatives.
The role works within the Strategy function supporting senior leaders and in collaboration core business functions to bring clarity, focus and structure to complex strategic questions.
- Conduct market, consumer, competitor and financial analysis to inform business strategy.
- Support definition of where to play and how to win across categories, channels and geographies.
- Build scenario, sensitivity and trade-off analyses to assess risks, returns and strategic options.
- Support the development of business strategy, including defining where to play, how to win and key growth priorities.
- Pull together clear, compelling strategy narratives that translate complex analysis into simple, aligned stories.
- Draft strategic priorities, guardrails and directional choices for leadership alignment.
- Prepare high-quality strategy presentations, papers and reports for executive and board forums.
- Support evaluation of new growth opportunities across categories, channels, geographies, partnerships and inorganic options.
- Assist in opportunity sizing, business case development and phased growth planning.
- Support portfolio role definition and capital allocation discussions.
- Translate strategic priorities into a clear set of initiatives, work streams and milestones.
- Map strategic initiatives across functions, identifying dependencies, sequencing and ownership.
- Support leaders in clarifying objectives, success measures and resource requirements for key initiatives.
- Track progress of strategic initiatives, highlighting risks, bottlenecks and misalignment to leadership.
- Work closely with Product, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Business Development to ensure strategy is reflected in execution plans.
- Act as a connective tissue between strategy definition and day-to-day decision-making.
- Support cross-functional alignment forums and decision checkpoints to maintain strategic focus as the business scales.
- Prepare clear, concise materials for leadership meetings and discussions.
- Translate complex analysis into actionable insights, implications and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to structure complex issues.
- Ability to craft clear, compelling strategy narratives and executive-ready materials.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to connect insights to actionable recommendations.
- Financial literacy and ability to interpret business performance and investment scenarios.
- Data synthesis and insight generation from multiple qualitative and quantitative sources.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
- Collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity and learning mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Structured prioritisation and judgement when balancing competing initiatives.
• 2–5+ years’ experience in strategy, management consulting, analytics, or corporate development.
• FMCG or consumer business experience desirable but not essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
