Role Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding Botim Money’s market presence, acquiring new merchants, and driving revenue growth. This role will focus on new merchant acquisition, partner expansion, and optimizing sales pipelines to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, acquire, and manage strategic relationships with SME’s, large-scale merchants, enterprise clients, and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent merchant engagement and deal closures.
  • Focused on increasing transaction volumes and merchant adoption of Botim Money’s payment solutions.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify high-potential industries, sales opportunities, and competitive positioning for Botim Money’s products.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, integration, and operational support for new merchants, working closely with Tech, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Track sales performance, revenue, and market expansion efforts, ensuring all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with merchants to assess performance, transaction trends, and new revenue opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, fintech, or payments (preferably in MENA).
  • Proven track record in merchant acquisition, partner expansion, and revenue growth within the fintech or payments industry.
  • Strong understanding of merchant acquiring PSP partnerships, digital payments, and financial services.
  • Experience in developing sales pipelines, managing high-value partnerships, and negotiating complex deals.
  • Knowledge of POS, QR, VIBANs, and alternative payment solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking sales performance, merchant engagement, and market trends.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment, balancing multiple business development initiatives and revenue objectives.
