As the Head of Finance and Business Development, the role is a dual‑focus executive role responsible for driving revenue growth while ensuring financial health, profitability, and cost‑efficiency of integrated services (hard and soft FM). This position will report to the CEO and combines strategic financial planning with proactive business acquisition, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
Core Responsibilities- Financial Strategy & Management: Oversee full P&L responsibility for the FM, including financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Business Development & Growth: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, expand existing accounts, and achieve revenue targets.
- Bid & Tender Management: Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and fee compilations, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with technical operational requirements.
- Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Structure high-value service contracts (SLAs, KPIs), negotiate terms, and ensure adherence to statutory, legal, and health and safety regulations.
- Cost Control & Profitability: Analyze operational costs, implement cost‑saving initiatives, and optimize capital structure.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, property owners, and industry stakeholders.
- Operational Integration: Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service excellence, vendor performance, and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA/ACCA is preferred.
- Experience: 10–15+ years of experience in finance, with significant experience in facility management operations or business development.
- Technical
Skills:
Deep knowledge of financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CRM software, and Excel. - FM Knowledge: Strong understanding of integrated facility management services (e.g., HVAC, cleaning, security, MEP).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
