You’ll make a difference by-

As Commercial Bid Management:

Lead the end-to-end commercial bid process for complex professional service, software, and solution projects.This includes:

  • Analyzing customer requirements, contractual terms, and financial conditions
    (including those from consortium partners and majorsubcontractors) to ensure alignment with Siemens Advanta'scommercial strategy.
  • Developing commercially sound bid proposals
    , articulating the value proposition, pricing strategy, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Coordinating all commercial aspects of bids
    with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, technical, delivery) and external partners, ensuring comprehensive and compliant submissions.
  • Conducting thorough commercial risk assessments and creditworthiness checks
    for all key external stakeholders, particularly direct customers and partners.
  • Preparing and presenting robust commercial justifications and bid proposals
    to all relevant management levels (headquarter, regional, and local) for internal approval (LoA).
  • Driving the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions

Expert Commercial Project Management:

  • Oversee the commercial integrity and financial performance of projects from award through to close-out.
  • Be responsible for the accuracy of overall project financial books and records, governance, and managing day-to-day commercial project operations.This includes creating bookings, setting up project structure, contractual setup, budgeting, monitoring project financial status based on planned delivery schedule in local SAP systems, purchase processes, documentation, project reviews, controlling, and forecasting.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements, tax regulations, export control regulations, hedging/currency regulations, performance guarantees, cash and claim management, and insurances.
  • Proactively manage commercial risks, change orders, and claims throughout the project lifecycle to protect profitability.
  • Prepare and update project actuals, analysis, and forecasts according to project progress and contractual terms
  • Support internal & external project audits as required

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work seamlessly with internal teams including solution architects, delivery, legal, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to customer solutions and project execution.
  • Share market intelligence and commercial best practices to continuously enhance our strategies and offerings.

What You ll Bring:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related commercial field. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is a significant advantage.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive and successful experience in
    sales and commercial project management roles
    , with a proven track record of complex projects within the Middle East market, specifically in
    professional services, software, or complex solution projects.
  • Prior commercial experience in a project-driven environment, preferably in commercial sales positions, is essential.
  • Strong experience in project accounting (Completed Contract / Percentage of Completion) and Siemens FRGs.
  • Certificate as CPM-C according to PM@Siemens (or equivalent for external applicants) is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, strategic negotiation prowess, and persuasive communication skills tailored for complex solution sales.
  • Deep understanding of commercial models for software licensing, professional services, and managed services.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
