Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for our 3PL (Third Party Logistics) business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with our services and value propositions to potential clients.

Key

responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in 3PL / logistics sales
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other business development activities and convert prospects into customers, Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients to understand their logistics needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, tailored solutions, and pricing models to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to close deals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of proven track record of success in business development or sales within the logistics industry, particularly in the 3PL sector.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
