This role is responsible for the ongoing management, development, and commercialization of digitally enabled GTB - Cash & Trade products for WBG clients.
Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify product development and enhancement opportunities to meet current and emerging transaction banking requirements of WBG clients, which will assist in the bank achievement of strategic objectives. The scope of this role will require regular and close interaction with WBG and GTB sales staff, Clients, SMC, Credit, Risk, Trade Operations and Service Delivery teams along with market & competitor analysis for the development of WBG cash & trade products and digital initiatives.
Key Accountabilities- Manage and enhance the existing GTB product portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer feedback and business objectives.
- Lead the development and launch of new GTB products and services, following the bank’s product committee guidelines.
- Develop and implement cash product and digital solutions strategy that aligns with organisational goals, customer feedback and overall GTB business plan
- Monitor progress against the agreed product strategy and realign and refocus efforts on product delivery & commercialization
- Responsible to identify and pursue partnership opportunities with fintechs and other strategic partners to expand product offerings.
- Responsible to explore and develop Banking as a Service (BaaS) initiatives to support business growth and innovation.
- Conduct regular gap analysis of current capabilities; develop and implement action plans to address areas for improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of regulatory and internal policy compliance for the GTB product suite.
- Responsible to complete regular product performance reviews and ensure all amendments are in line with organisational policies and governance frameworks.
- Guide, mentor, and provide subject matter expertise to team members and stakeholders on GTB product-related matters.
- Collaborate closely with business units, IT, Risk, Legal and Compliance to identify, develop, and commercialise new products.
- Benchmark GTB offerings against market trends and competitor developments; prepare and present market analysis reports as required.
- Work with marketing and communications teams to design and implement product engagement and brand awareness initiatives.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to refine products, services, and partnerships for improved customer experience.
- Monitor and report on competitor bank developments to ensure competitive positioning and inform strategic product decisions.
- Determine product pricing mechanisms and manage campaigns to optimize returns and market penetration.
- Make sure product related income and fee is mapped, collected and incorporated in performance dashboards
- Actively engage with all stakeholders to optimize product costs and maximize value delivered to the bank.
- Ensure high standards of service by working with support teams and regularly reviewing and improving SLAs.
