The client is a global event business within the ever-growing hospitality investment space. Their clients are the industry’s key decision-makers (hospitality investors, owners, developers, operators, and advisors) across hotels, branded residences, F&B, wellness, and travel. They are globally renowned for delivering high-value conferences that go beyond content and networking, facilitating real deals and drive meaningful investment across the Middle East region.
The role is for an experienced Sponsorship Sales Manager to lead on commercial growth for the leading events portfolio. This is a hands-on role focused on securing and expanding sponsorship revenue through strategic client relationships, high-impact storytelling, and long-term value creation. You’ll play a central role in shaping the commercial success of their flagship event, working closely with our Portfolio Director and cross-functional teams across marketing, content, and operations.
This role requires someone who is:
- A confident dealmaker with a strong sales record and client-first approach
- Comfortable owning and delivering against ambitious revenue targets
- Commercially astute and able to navigate complex client organisations
- Comfortable in a small, agile, high-performing team
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine go-to-market sales strategies
- Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities and market segments
- Nurture and expand existing key accounts to maximise customer lifetime value
- Build a visible personal brand, participating in panels, podcasts, and social media
- Own and implement the onsite rebooking strategy.
- Build long-term partnerships that extend across multiple events and years
- Minimum 5 years’ proven sales experience, ideally in events or B2B services
- Strong track record in closing complex, high-value sponsorship deals
- Experience navigating C-level and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Results-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented with strong commercial instincts
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust with clients and teams alike
- Fluent English required, additional languages (Arabic, French) a strong plus
- Experience using Hub Spot or other CRM systems preferred
