Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about ensuring efficiency and accuracy in workshop operations? Join the Ali & Sons Group as a Cost Clerk, where you’ll play a vital role in managing job costing, workflow distribution, and performance reporting within our service workshop.

As a key support function, you’ll work closely with technicians, service advisors, and management to ensure smooth operations, accurate invoicing, and timely reporting.

• Evaluate labour lines in service orders and split them into appropriate jobs and sub-orders.
• Estimate task completion time for technicians based on job requirements and capability.
• Distribute workflow efficiently to technicians to maximize productivity.
• Calculate job costs accurately once tasks are completed.
• Prepare invoices, estimates, and proforma invoices in a timely manner.
• Verify consumable charges and amend job cards and invoices to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Ensure proper checking of invoices and supporting documents against system records.
• Prepare daily workshop performance reports and incentive computation claims.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in the system.
• Provide regular updates to service advisors and follow instructions from the Service Manager.
• Adhere to company SOPs, health and safety regulations, and QHSE standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and organized work environment.
• Report any technical or safety-related issues to the Master Technician.

To ensure accurate job costing, effective workflow distribution, and precise performance reporting, supporting workshop efficiency and overall service excellence.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Experience: Exposure to workshop operations, costing, or service administration is an advantage.
