This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading and managing global procurement activities across the Group and portfolio companies within the UHNWI's Family Office. The Head of Group Procurement will ensure efficient sourcing, cost savings, and compliance with global standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying abreast of market trends and regulations to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Mainresponsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of sourcing and procurement projects, from planning and bid preparation to budget/forecasting, negotiation, invoicing and reporting.
- Work with the Procurement Manager to ensure procurement strategies for the core company is aligned with the Group’s strategy.
- Develop product category strategies aligned with business needs, build a supply chain capable of delivering the desired service levels, at competitive cost and ensure suppliers are willing to invest in the strategy.
- Drive savings by developing and applying various strategies such as volume leverage, supplier concentration, supply chain segmentation and negotiate prices, schedules and other terms as required.
- Develop collaborative long-term global partnerships with suppliers, contractors and outsourced service providers to reduce costs, to meet legislative requirements and achieve high quality outcomes.
- Drive cost improvements across the supply chain through continuous review and revision.
- Develop a strategy with key stakeholders on inventory management and manage and control inventory levels within agreed parameters and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Responsible for regular forecasting demand to ensure on time supply. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against metrics for price, quality, delivery, and customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management) or other relevant subjects
- Knowledge and experience in negotiating with global companies in international settings
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
- Strong analytical, financial and technical acumen.
- Full English proficiency is required
- Additional spoken languages are a plus
- 10-15 years of experience managing global sourcing and supply chain management
- Exposure in luxury real estate sector is an advantage
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools
