The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for fit-out projects. With 7–10 years of experience in the UAE fit-out industry, the role ensures cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with project requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities: 1.Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify and source materials, suppliers, and subcontractors for fit-out projects.
- Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier/vendor relationships.
Cost & Contract Management
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor procurement budgets and support cost control initiatives.
- Ensure contracts and purchase agreements align with company policies and UAE regulations.
Coordination & Support
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and design teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.
- Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams for deliveries, storage, and distribution.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier databases, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement status reports and submit them to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 7–10 years of procurement experience in fit-out/construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and subcontractor market.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
