The Role

Pet Watch is seeking a highly organized and dependable Pet Sitter Coordinator to manage and oversee all daily operations related to pet sitter accounts. This is a pivotal operational role that serves as the primary point of coordination for our pet sitter network, ensuring quality, compliance, and engagement across all stages of the sitter lifecycle.

The Pet Sitter Coordinator will be responsible for pet sitter account validation, onboarding, training, follow-ups, relationship management, and real-time issue resolution. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service standards, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the growth of our sitter community.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Pet Sitter Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all bookings and sitters. This includes:

Key Responsibilities Network Management
  • Oversee the onboarding, verification, and ongoing management of pet sitters, ensuring all sitters meet Pet Watch Academy standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for pet sitters, providing guidance, support, and relationship management.
  • Educate sitters on the Pet Watch app, service expectations, and best practices.
  • Monitor pet sitter profiles and account information, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
  • Track and report on pet sitter account progress, including onboarding, verification, profile activation, and Pet Watch Academy completion.
  • Participate in Pet Watch events and activations and coordinate with the team to deliver pet sitter training programs and workshops, ensuring continuous improvement and engagement across the sitter network.
Platform Operations
  • Followup with assigned pet sitters to ensure all client appointments are confirmed, accurately scheduled, and successfully fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assign the most suitable pet sitters for each booking based on location, availability, and experience.
  • Update bookings, sitter profiles, and schedules in the company system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Problem Resolution
  • Act as the first line of support for “live” issues, including app glitches, sitter no-shows, or client emergencies, ensuring no pet is left unattended.
  • Monitor service quality and escalation concerns or incidents as needed.
Administrative Records & Reporting
  • Maintain and update pet sitter databases, ensuring care instructions, security/access details, and other key information are precise and current.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate booking records, payouts, and third-party payment registrations.
  • Oversee Pet Watch Academy for enrollments, monitoring training progress, and ensure successful adoption of the portal.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on pet sitter account performance, onboarding progress, and Pet Watch Academy metrics.

  • Proactive, with strong independent problem-solving skills
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to actively listen, empathize, and adapt your communication style to suit diverse pet sitter needs
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up skills
  • Able to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-discipline and effective time management
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Familiar with Hub Spot or similar CRM tools
  • Comfortable tracking progress, maintaining records, and preparing basic operational reports
  • Ambitious and motivated to grow within a fast-growing company
