Key Responsibilities:

• Support country management in the development of the Kuwait market strategic plan by integrating and setting priorities based on market information, client business plans, Visa priorities and competitor activities.
• Develop and execute a customized account strategy, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market share.
• Lead the account and relationship management and sales plan for assigned accounts, ensuring that the client’s business objectives are met.
• Work with the cross‑functional team: recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to grow client business.
• Continuously review the market landscape, identifying partnership opportunities and solution offerings that position Visa as the market leader.
• Align and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the organization such as Product Marketing, Merchant Sales & Acquiring, Client Services, Innovation, Legal, Risk and Support.
• Support the development, negotiation and signing of proposals by working with internal stakeholders and relationships with strategic partner executives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in sales, retail banking and cards.
• Experience in the banking/financial services sector or sales/portfolio development and relationship management.
• Project management, strategic planning, analytical and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Extensive knowledge of Visa, other payment systems and card products.
• Proven experience liaising, presenting to, influencing and negotiating with senior international and central bankers, regulators, merchants, media, domestic switches, third‑party vendors and other key external stakeholders.
