Logistics & Order Processing Specialist

Vendor Management- Source, evaluate, and manage vendors for goods, spare parts, and services.
- Implement vendor performance processes and conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure quality service and timely delivery.
- Coordinate shipping activities between suppliers and 3PLs across all modes of transport.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documents, including handling Letters of Credit (LC) shipments.
- Launch RFI/RFQ/RFP processes: prepare, distribute, and evaluate offers for materials, services, and logistics contracts.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and 3PLs to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Review bid proposals and make procurement recommendations based on cost‑benefit analysis.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to acquire goods and services at optimal cost.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents in compliance with company policies.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and emerging suppliers.
- Address and resolve discrepancies related to orders or deliveries.
- Generate periodic reports for management on KPIs related to procurement, inventory, material management, and warehouse operations.
- Oversee contracts for production, spare parts, and non‑production materials/services.
- Review, renew, or terminate contracts as necessary, ensuring compliance with terms.
- Maintain a centralised database of all contracts and renewal timelines.
Experience: Minimum of four years in procurement, logistics, material management, inventory, supply chain, or a related role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Key SkillsCapabilities: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities. Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and advanced Excel/MS Office applications. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred ExpertiseExperience in procurement, material management, inventory, and logistics for spare parts is an advantage.
