About the job Senior Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth in the events or related sectors.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and improve strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with the companys goals.
- Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Proposal Development: Create and present high-quality proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the companys services.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, performance, and progress against targets.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in business development, with a proven track record in managing key accounts and driving new business in the events or related industry.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the events industry and its dynamics.
- Sales Expertise: Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills, with a focus on delivering value to clients.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think critically and develop strategies that align with business goals.
