Role Overview:
The Commercial Deals Consultant is a senior-level role responsible for leading the full lifecycle of client incentive deals across the GCC region. With over 10 years of experience, the consultant will drive deal strategy, financial modeling, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring deals are structured efficiently and strategically. This role demands strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of GCC market dynamics, and the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Management & Execution- Own the end-to-end deal workflow, including preparation, modeling, and pipeline prioritization.
- Maintain a centralized deal calendar and lead weekly sprints to monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure deal structures are aligned with client needs and internal governance standards.
- Conduct first-level reviews of deal model outputs and support Account Executives in proposal development.
- Build financial models and long-term projections for client incentive deals in collaboration with Finance and BD teams.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies that support client growth and regional business objectives.
- Provide strategic input into deal initiation sheets, contract reviews, and client-facing proposals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, offering a “one-window” service for approvals.
- Drive early alignment across Legal, BD, Contract Management, and Finance to reduce revisions and accelerate sign-offs.
- Challenge stakeholders constructively to ensure strategic alignment and optimal deal outcomes.
- Act as the Center of Excellence for deal best practices, process flows, and team education.
- Prepare management reports and executive presentations on deal performance and pipeline status.
- Update deal trackers and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in deal structuring, financial modeling, and commercial strategy.
- Proven track record in deals in the GCC region.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive strategic outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
