General Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with experience in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Record rental income, service charges, and property-related expenses.
• Manage tenant accounts, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
• Reconcile lease agreements and property statements.
• Coordinate with property management teams regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow and budget tracking.
• Maintain proper documentation for regulatory and management review.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
