General Accountant

Trophy Stays is a growing holiday homes and property management company based in Dubai. We specialize in short-term rental management, interior design, renovation, and operational services for property owners. As our portfolio expands, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team and strengthen our financial operations.

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced General Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting functions of our holiday homes operations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, experience handling multi-property transactions, and the ability to manage high-volume operational payments, owner reporting, and expense tracking.

This role requires accuracy, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain full-cycle accounting records for the company
• Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and cash flow reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow
• Prepare owner statements and property-level financial summaries

• Track revenue from reservations and allocate payments accurately across properties
• Oversee renovation project accounting and payment tracking
• Monitor and reconcile security deposits and client balances

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations
• Prepare VAT filings and coordinate with external auditors if required
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and internal controls
• Improve and enforce financial procedures to minimize risk

• Process payroll and staff expense reimbursements
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions
• Support management with budgeting and financial forecasting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a General Accountant (UAE experience required)
• Experience in real estate, property management, or holiday homes preferred
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations in the UAE
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (advanced level)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
