Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing engineering company located in Dubai Investment Park 2 (DIP
2). They are currently seeking a highly skilled General Accountant with extensive Odoo experience to join their finance team.

General Accountant

• Financial Reporting :
  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Accounts Management :
  Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Budgeting :
  Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Reconciliations :
  Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Odoo ERP Management :
  Utilize Odoo ERP for accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry and report generation.
• Tax Compliance :
  Ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations, including VAT filing.
• Audit Support :
  Provide support during internal and external audits.
• General Ledger :
  Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Financial Analysis :
  Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Process Improvement :
  Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department.

• Education :
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience :
  Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Odoo Expertise :
  Proven experience using Odoo ERP system is mandatory.
• Technical Skills :
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge :
  Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Communication :
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail :
  High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Problem‑Solving :
  Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team Player :
  Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
