As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

You will be responsible for performing basic accounting tasks, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and assisting with financial reporting. • Assist in preparing financial statements including balance sheets and income statements.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files, performing regular checks on data entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and process payroll transactions ensuring all employee records are accurate.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory documents.
• Conduct routine audits of invoices and expense reports, verifying accuracy and compliance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities with appropriate data collection and analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review and analysis.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial processes meet organizational goals.
• Respond to queries from other departments and provide information as requested.
• Support the senior accountants with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
• Keep abreast of new accounting techniques and software for more effective processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as a junior accountant or in a similar role beneficial.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Quick Books.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
