Junior Accountant; Odoo- Accounting

Melisa Trading L.L.C. is looking for a Junior Accountant & Finance Operations Executive to join our growing team in Dubai.

This is a hands-on, learning-focused role for someone with a background in Accounting, Finance, or Business
, who wants to build real operational accounting skills using Odoo 19
.

The role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, curious about accounting systems
, and naturally analytical
. You will work directly with live company data and play an important role in day-to-day financial operations.

• Create and manage daily accounting entries in Odoo 19
• Record vendor bills, customer invoices, credit notes, and journal entries
• Track and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash movement tracking
• Support inventory-related accounting entries (in coordination with operations)
• Maintain clean, accurate, and well-documented accounting records

• Assist with bill payments
  , cheque writing, and payment tracking
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables
• Support basic cash flow tracking
• Maintain organized financial documentation (digital & physical)
• Coordinate with management and accounting on day-to-day finance tasks

• Help analyze basic financial and operational data
• Support reporting on expenses, balances, and trends
• Identify inconsistencies or anomalies in entries and raise them early
• Gradually build understanding of business performance through accounting data

• Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong interest in accounting and finance as a career
• Comfortable with numbers, structure, and detail

• Willingness to learn accounting systems deeply (especially Odoo
  )
• Reliable, organized, and disciplined with follow-ups
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, AP/AR, expenses)

• Prior exposure to Odoo or any ERP system
• Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Interest in business analytics or operational finance
• Internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance
