Our client is a luxury beauty and lifestyle brands distributor in the Middle East looking to hire a General Accountantwith practical experience in Accounts payable, Cashbooks, General ledger accounts maintenance, inventory management, and taxation. Capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
What will you do?- Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, goods sold on consignment
- Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
- Receive inventory in the accounting system and generate suppliers' Invoices in multi-currencies
- Maintain effective inventory for the company by running item forecasts based on current stock holding
- Bachelor in Accounting/Commerce/Business Studies degree majoring in Accounting or Applied Accounting. ACCA/CIMA/CA will be an added advantage
- SAUDI ARABIA accounting and taxation experience
- Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience in a beauty/cosmetics or FMCG distribution or trading organization
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience using ERPs software such as Oracle, SAGE, SAP
- Inventory experience with min 500 SKUs is a MUST
