Real Estate Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities related to real estate properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting management with financial insights.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for real estate properties (residential and/or commercial).
• Record and reconcile rental income, service charges, deposits, and property-related expenses.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable related to properties, tenants, and vendors.
• Monitor lease agreements and ensure correct revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with property management teams regarding billing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for properties.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT filing and documentation.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Tally, SAP, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the UAE real estate market is a strong advantage.

• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience working with multiple properties or real estate portfolios.
