We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong SAP expertise, UAE VAT knowledge, and audit exposure to support core accounting operations and financial compliance. The role plays a critical part in month‑end close, financial reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to IFRS and local regulations.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently while collaborating closely with controllers, auditors, and cross‑functional teams.

• Perform monthly closing activities in line with the agreed close calendar.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Review trial balance, balance sheet, and key accounts
  , investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies

• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations with proper audit trails.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, including Stellantis‑related parties.
• Support financial controllers with reporting, analysis, and ad‑hoc accounting requirements.

• Support the timely preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and refund applications.
• Ensure VAT transactions are correctly recorded in SAP and comply with UAE VAT laws and regulations

• Liaise with tax consultants and internal stakeholders on VAT‑related matters and audits.

• Coordinate and support external and internal audits

• Respond to audit queries promptly and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements.

• Utilize SAP effectively to support accounting, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP.
• Proven experience working with external auditors and tax consultants.
