Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper Intern / Trainee to support day-to-day accounting and record-keeping activities. This role is ideal for accounting students seeking practical exposure to bookkeeping, financial records maintenance, and accounting systems within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with data entry and maintenance of accounting records
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Organizing financial documentation and supporting audit readiness
- Assisting in preparation of basic financial reports
- Supporting ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned
- Currently pursuing a degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACCA students preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to accounting software is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
