Russell Bedford (Dubai) Limited is a full-service auditing and accounting practice licensed in the Dubai International Financial Centre since March 2006 and regulated as an audit firm by the Dubai Financial Services Authority since early 2007. Over the years the firm has built a reputation for delivering a high standard of service across its portfolio of clients which include both regulated and non-regulated entities established within the Dubai International Financial Centre.

The firm possesses a world-class base of cross-disciplinary professionals who are available to assist clients with all issues relating to business start-up and operation, transactions, licensing and regulatory matters.

Russell Bedford International are looking to recruit an Audit Associate to join their team in the DIFC.

• You will be expected to meet clients commitments on external and internal audit engagements by executing the audit and completing audit files within the specified timeframe of the engagement.
• Performing audit fieldwork, including sampling, testing and analysing financial data.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify potential risks or control gaps.
• Conduct substantive testing of transactions, accounts balances, and financial processes.
• Prepare and maintain detailed audit working papers in accordance with the firm's standards.
• Document audit findings and discuss preliminary issues with senior auditors.
• Support the preparation on auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry regulations.
• Participate in internal training programs and continuously develop technical skills.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CA/ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification is nice to have but not required or has the willingness to pursue certification.
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of external audit experience gained with a mid-tier or one of the Big 4 audit firms.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and audit methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with audit software is a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate must already be based here in the UAE.
