Assistant Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to support our Accounts operations in Dubai. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, Corporate Tax and hands‑on experience with reporting and reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor reconciliations
• Assist with payroll, expense claims, and internal audits
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, Zoho, SAP)
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be an added advantage

Minimum 3 years in UAE / GCC
