• Read and write English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.

The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, including receiving inventory, stocking, operating a cash register, providing carry‑out services, and maintaining store cleanliness.

• Maintain a store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise with proper equipment; ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases; prepare perishable products; set up advertising/promotional displays; review invoices for accuracy.
• Cleans and maintains sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, receive payments, make change or process credit/debit transactions, process cash or credit refunds when approved, and verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers; load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost or damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
