Meat Production Operative

Are you looking for full-time work in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment? We are currently recruiting Meat Production Operatives to join our team based at our busy site on the Kellythorpe Industrial Estate in Driffield.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:

• Days: 6:00am to 6:00pm
• Nights: 6:00pm to 2:00am

Overtime available on Sundays.

• Day Shift: £12.21 per hour
• Night Shift: £13.50 per hour
• Overtime (after 50 hours): £15.26 per hour
• Sunday Rate: £15.26 per hour

As a Meat Production Operative your duties include:

• Working on production lines handling raw and cooked meat products
• Cutting, trimming, weighing, and packing meat
• Operating machinery (full training provided)
• Manual handling and lifting
• Cleaning down work areas and equipment
• Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
• Working in chilled environments
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Our perfect worker will have full-time availability and be comfortable working with both raw and cooked meat in chilled conditions. Applicants will have a good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work and be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
