Arable Operator
Full-Time Arable Operator – Driffield, East Yorkshire - £40,000 + Farmhouse
Overview Responsibilities- Operate a Grimme GB215 potato planter and Varitron 270 harvester
- Opportunities to carry out combining, drilling, cultivation, and spraying
- General farm work as required
A medium sized, family run mixed farming business is seeking a Main Arable Operator to join their small, friendly team. The farm specialises in potatoes, cereals and also runs two broiler chicken units.
The Candidate- Have previous experience operating potato machinery
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have good attention to detail and strong workshop skills
- Be willing to work long hours during busy periods
- Hold PA1/PA2 and telehandler certificates (preferred)
- Competitive salary of £40,000 per annum
- 4-bedroom farmhouse available if required
- A varied role with opportunities for progression
