We are currently seeking SEN Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN setting in Driffield on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
This role offers the chance to work within a well-structured, nurturing environment where consistency and high-quality support make a real difference to pupils’ lives.
You will collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider professional teams to support pupils in accessing learning, building confidence, and achieving positive outcomes within an inclusive and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
* Assist pupils in engaging with the curriculum across a range of learning abilities
* Apply positive behaviour approaches and support emotional regulation
* Promote independence, self-esteem, and social skills development
* Support inclusive practice across classrooms and wider school environments
* Observe, monitor, and contribute to records of pupil progress and wellbeing
