Chemical Laboratory Assistant - Analytical Chemistry (m/f/d)

Founded in December 2020, the Dresden-based company beeOLED is developing an innovative approach to substantially increase the efficiency and lifespan of displays. We develop, synthesize and market fine chemicals, taking the entire path from research work directly to product placement on the global market in a short space of time.
At beeOLED, experienced synthesis chemists, analytical chemists, physicists, engineers, project managers and patent experts work closely together in an international team to establish our new idea on the market as quickly as possible. Our customers are all manufacturers of OLED displays for smartphones and televisions. Financially strong investors and public funding support us on our way.
During our current growth phase, we are looking to strengthen our team.
Your Profile
- Completed training as a chemical laboratory assistant or similar.
- 2 years of work experience in the field of analytical chemistry required
- Experience with HPLC/GC-MS – other analytical methods are an advantage
- Basic knowledge of analytical methods in organic chemistry
- Strong desire and ability to work in a team
- Careful execution and documentation of results.
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and safety awareness
- In addition, you are punctual and reliable, and you work in a precise, goal-oriented, timely and independent manner within a team.
- Good to very good written and spoken German, English desirable
Your Tasks
- Sample preparation and independent performance of analyses according to specified test instructions using HPLC, GC-MS, UV-VIS, TGA-DSC, EA
- Creation of protocols and documentation of results in ELN.
- Collaboration on projects for method development and validation
- Purification of organic semiconductor materials using sublimation according to specified procedures
- Cleaning, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Carrying out incoming inspections of raw materials, analysis samples and other goods
- Participation in general laboratory activities

Conditions and benefits
- Full-time – 40 hours per week
- Flexible but regular working hours (core working hours)
- 30 days of annual leave
- Permanent employment contract with a 6-month probationary period
