Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Training) to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. An ideal candidate is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems. A successful RV Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs.

Camping World will pay for certification if not already certified.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide and document diagnostic tests, repairs, or replacements for customers.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Keep supervisors informed of work progress.
  • Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment for customers and coworkers.
  • What You’ll Need:
  • Certification from college or technical school in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but applicable work experience is also considered.
  • Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
  • RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
  • Exposure to heights and hazards related to electrical and welding work.
  • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.
  • Compensation and Benefits:

    The pay range considers factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and organizational needs. The current estimated range is provided below.
