Holiday Oil is seeking a high-performing Fuel and Fleet Sales Associate to drive growth in our commercial fuel and fleet business. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused sales professional with experience in bulk fuels and a strong track record of acquiring and retaining commercial accounts.
You will identify and secure new business opportunities, develop pricing and bid strategies, and manage fleet sales accounts from prospecting to operational execution. If you thrive in a consultative sales environment and understand fuel pricing dynamics, we want to hear from you.
What You'll DoAs a Fuel and Fleet Sales Associate, you will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals and KPIs
- Prospect, network, and generate actionable leads to grow commercial accounts
- Manage the full fleet sales process-pricing, sales cycle, and operational execution
- Draft competitive quotes and respond to RFQs with urgency and accuracy
- Negotiate with fleet vendors and secure long-term agreements/contracts
- Gather and analyze competitive market data to support pricing and bid strategy
- Build and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships
- Report client activity to leadership and meet reporting deadlines
- Attend and engage with community groups, trade organizations, and associations (including outside regular business hours as needed)
- Provide exceptional service that supports customer retention and long-term account health
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, account management, or customer service
- Minimum 2 years of petroleum industry and bulk fuels sales experience required
- Experience securing contracts is required
- Comfortable with outbound sales activity (calls, visits, relationship development)
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR; ability to travel locally
- Associate or bachelor's degree (business, marketing, or related field preferred)
- Strong understanding of fuel pricing, market indexes, COGS, and gross profit margins
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Proven ability to build customer trust and drive retention
