Pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the job, from order processing and inventory management to customer interactions and showroom presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all parts and accessories customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer phone calls promptly (within four rings) and avoid extended hold times.
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts and accessories for their needs.
- Utilize sales fundamentals to maximize sales opportunities, including up-selling and suggesting related items (aiming for at least two items per ticket).
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cashiering and accounting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom and stockroom.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts.
- Follow all Parts Department processes and procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services.
- Provide professional service to coworkers and vendors.
- Assist the receiver in putting away stock when customer traffic allows.
- Maintain high ethical standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Be punctual and maintain consistent attendance.
- Maintain product certification for all manufacture product training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or General Manager.
- Passion for powersports and extensive knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, and snowmobiles.
- Strong customer service and sales skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (preferably Light Speed or similar platforms).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory and processing customer orders.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs for stocking and organizing inventory.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with industry trends, manufacturers, and aftermarket brands.
- Problem-solving skills to assist customers in selecting the right parts and accessories.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Current valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record, no blemishes
- Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
