Our client is a leading Medical Device company and needs two Supplier Quality Engineers to support a backlog of aging supplier quality records and drive closure of open quality activities. This role will focus on supplier-facing quality investigations, CAPA management, and nonconformance resolution within a regulated environment.
This is a 9-month assignment in the greater Salt Lake City area. These roles will be based onsite 5 days/week.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct triage analysis on aging supplier quality records and develop action plans for closure
- Lead supplier investigations and drive effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Manage and close Supplier CAPAs, SCARs, NCRs, and NOCs
- Partner directly with suppliers to ensure timely resolution of quality issues
- Support risk assessments and documentation updates as required
- Ensure compliance with medical device quality system regulations
- 5–10 years of Supplier Quality experience in medical device
- Strong experience managing supplier CAPAs, SCARs, NCRs, and quality investigations
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with suppliers to drive root cause and corrective actions
- Working knowledge of medical device Quality Systems (FDA QSR / ISO 13485)
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
