Job Summary And QualificationsFull time (Monday - Friday, day shift), no nights, no on-call, no weekends, no holidays.
Seeking a Clerical Documentation Assistant (CDA) who assists the provider with navigating the medical record, locating information for review and researching information as requested.
What you will do in this role- CDAs must be present during the clinical service encounter and capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient/LIP/Independent APP encounter in a timely manner (during the encounter or immediately following the patient encounter). The note must reflect the services provided on the date of service.
- Assist the provider with navigating the medical record
- Locate information for review
- Research information as requested by the provider
- Performs other related job functions as assigned
- EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required - Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred)
- EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one-year experience as a scribe or in a clinical or hospital setting required - Medical Terminology Course Preferred
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred)
