Collections Analyst

Collections Analyst (Accounts Receivable) | Payments & Fintech

Our client is seeking a Collections Analyst to support the end‑to‑end collections process across multiple business units. This role focuses on reviewing delinquent accounts, determining the best outreach strategy, and partnering with internal teams to maximize recovery while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–5:30PM

Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite: Tuesday & Thursday)

Contract Duration:6 months contract with potential extension

Location:
Candidates must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance (up to 35 minutes) | Local Draper-area candidates are strongly preferred

Requirements:

• Analyze account data to identify trends, risks, and root causes.
• Review past‑due accounts and determine appropriate collection strategies.
• Conduct outreach to customers via phone/email to resolve outstanding balances.
• Investigate payment issues and collaborate with internal teams (Billing, Support, Payments)
• Document all collection activities accurately and in compliance with internal policies.
• Support process improvements and assist in training team members on new procedures.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to learn, adapt, and train others on new processes.
• 1–2+ years of direct collections experience (e‑commerce, payments, or financial services preferred)
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Operations Management.
• Knowledge of payment methods (ACH, checks, digital wallets, international payments, virtual/credit cards)
