Financial Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst
The National Credit Analyst serves a critical role in evaluating and managing credit risk across a high volume of premium finance transactions. Responsibilities include reviewing credit requests, analyzing financial statements, and interpreting commercial credit reports to assess financial strength, risk exposure, and appropriate financing structures.
The primary function of this department is to establish, develop, and manage strategic agency programs designed to strengthen long term partnerships and enhance portfolio performance. This includes structuring and programming customized agency frameworks that support profit sharing arrangements, specialized financing programs, and other strategic initiatives. These efforts are focused on building durable relationships with key agencies, aligning incentives, and increasing profitability while maintaining disciplined credit standards.
Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, sound judgment, and the ability to balance risk management with relationship development. The National Credit Analyst plays an integral role in supporting strategic growth, enhancing agency partnerships, and contributing directly to the company’s long‑term profitability and industry leadership.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, structure, and implement customized agency and National Accounts programs, including profit sharing arrangements and specialized financing frameworks designed to increase revenue and strengthen strategic relationships
- Develop, program, and maintain complex agency and program structures within internal systems, ensuring all program terms, eligibility requirements, and financial parameters are accurately implemented
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of multiple active programs, including unique contractual structures, operational workflows, and financial incentives, to ensure consistency, accuracy, and proper execution
- Work directly with Regional Managers and Senior Agency Relations, to establish program parameters, verify eligibility, and ensure alignment with approved program structures
- Monitor program performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and support initiatives that improve profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term relationship value
- Manage the setup, import, and ongoing maintenance of agency and insurance entities within internal software systems to ensure accurate program administration
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and independent judgment when evaluating unique program structures and resolving complex scenarios
- Utilize internal systems and tools, including Zendesk, to manage program related communication, documentation, and operational tracking
- Support the credit review process as needed by reviewing financial statements and commercial credit information to assist in evaluating overall program and entity risk
- Exhibit strong self‑management skills, organization, and accountability in managing multiple complex programs and deadlines simultaneously
- Perform other duties appropriate to the role and department objectives
