What Your Day Will Look Like

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of water-related infrastructure projects. This role focuses on stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), and drainage systems for municipal, state, and federal clients.

What

You’ll Do
  • Manage and deliver stormwater, drainage, and water resources engineering projects from concept through construction.
  • Perform and oversee H&H modeling, stormwater analysis, and design of drainage systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for water quality and flood control.
  • Oversee scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and contract compliance.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
  • Develop proposals, pursue new opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships.
What You’ll Need
  • 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering, including stormwater and drainage design.
  • Proficiency in H&H modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with municipal stormwater systems, floodplain analysis, and erosion control.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS tools.
  • Business development experience in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to work in office environments and on project sites; willingness to experience variable weather, noise, and other conditions as required.
  • Physical demands include frequent sitting, moving, standing, and occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
