Summary
This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a wide variety of credit, collection and customer service tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Processing and soliciting credit applications dealing with investigation and inquiries.
- Will maintain credit files, make collection calls and file liens.
- Will perform customer service both over the phone and in person.
- Will perform credit adjustments incorporating all appropriate paperwork.
- Assist the credit department with other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience in a related field is a plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software.
