We seek an experienced full‑time Incident Commander Supervisor with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team here in Draper, Utah. You will be working on projects under the guidance of the Area Manager for our top Utah clients.
Supervisors are appointed to their roles based upon their ability to uphold the standards expected of them and demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of post orders, policies, company expectations, and additional duties.
Additionally, the candidate must have demonstrated the ability to lead their teams, take initiative, meet additional tasks and responsibilities given by supervisors, and display strong time‑management skills. In your day‑to‑day role as an Incident Commander Supervisor, you will act as a liaison between Surefox Utah and its clients while overseeing the emergency response. You will perform all duties in accordance with both company and client policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations.
Additional responsibilities include responding to emergency events, addressing medical and non‑medical issues, solving staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests in a timely manner. Under certain circumstances you will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal client and company issues.
We are looking for someone who has exceptional observation skills and values attention to detail. Base hourly rate: $37.00 / hour
Scheduled: 5 days a week (variable)
What You Will Do- Professionally conduct yourself while communicating with management and team members.
- Conduct briefing and debriefing for any upcoming and off‑going shifts during your scheduled shift.
- Coordinate with any additional supervisors from Surefox and other security teams to ensure that all information, both area and site‑specific, is being reviewed with all officers.
- Ensure all post equipment is signed out to the correct officers before they go to post, and all equipment is signed back in before the departure of each officer.
- Conduct inspections of the equipment upon check out and check‑in.
- Ensure that officers have the necessary information available to them to be able to perform their essential duties/roles.
- Ensure team members have access to Pay Com and can properly manage their times and breaks throughout the day, as well as have access to the following items on their work phone for their assigned post:
- Post Orders & Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)
- Pass down Logs
- BOLO Deck
- Metrics Recorder
- DARs
- Breaker Schedule (if necessary)
- Ping (if necessary)
- Other GSuite or program‑approved apps required to fulfill daily duties.
- Ensure employee break schedules are maintained in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure all Incident Commanders assigned to your site are not having issues with their break schedule or falling behind no later than (NLT) time frames.
- Coordinate any deployment changes necessary to ensure that Surefox is maximizing its footprint and can effectively cover all duties and roles assigned to Surefox.
- Respond to all incidents and assume incident command as necessary.
- Document any changes in posture through whatever written means have been provided to you by your leadership.
- Confirm with your immediate supervisor/manager any changes you will make before implementing to ensure that they will not affect pay rates, shift lengths, or breaks.
- Update coverage for each shift via email to the Area Manager.
- Manage any call‑offs, late arrivals, no‑shows, or other attendance issues that need to be filled out on the Discrepancy Sheet for management visibility.
- Serve as the program training coordinator as needed for SPATs, on‑the‑job training (OJT), and other scenarios in support of the training department.
