About the Role:

The Vice President of General Construction Sales is a senior leadership position responsible for driving sales strategy and revenue growth for Clean Space. This role requires developing and executing comprehensive sales plans that align with the company's business objectives and market opportunities. The VP will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering strong client relationships and expanding the company's market presence.

They will collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. This position is pivotal in positioning the company as a leader in general construction sales, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of general construction processes, market dynamics, and client requirements, preferably within the Life Sciences, High Technology, Micro Electronics, and/or Food & Beverage industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline.
  • Experience working with large-scale commercial or infrastructure construction projects.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Established network of industry contacts and client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets in the general construction sector.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to maximize performance and professional development.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to expand business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and project execution.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies proactively.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for executive leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
