NUTECH FIRE ALARM AND SECURITY is a progressive alarm company servicing Southern California. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual interested in high financial rewards and long‑term career growth. The Fire Alarm Project Coordinator position is available in the Greater Los Angeles area. FULL TIME POSITION. The coordinator must be a highly motivated self‑starter who can work independently without supervision.
Must have previous and successful estimating experience in the Fire Alarm industry and low voltage industry, with a minimum of three years.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, be proficient in computer skills:
Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access. Must be professionally presentable, dependable and have a positive optimistic attitude towards work.
- Main responsibility is to coordinate new system installations.
- Calling on contractors to set up Fire Alarm systems installation per contract.
- Prospect and identify requirements in order to complete project, prepare change order bid proposals, track and close projects.
- Read blueprints and visually identify system components of alarm systems.
- Perform account maintenance to maintain and strengthen relationships, provide customer status reports, follow up on services sold, interface with commercial property managers and building engineers, review reports and support internal staff requests for information.
- Prepare a change order bid plan, maintain log on bids, call activity and proposal offers made.
- Promptly respond to customer needs in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Coordinate scheduling of services sold with general contractor and customer to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Update job knowledge by tracking emerging trends in contracts; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with at least three years with fire alarm/life safety/security products and services is A Plus!
- Must be organized, able to work without constant supervision, and able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to read blueprints, contracts, schematics, and wiring diagrams is helpful.
- Experience performing fire safety take‑offs on change orders is helpful.
- Working knowledge of fire codes and services offered.

Hourly Salary $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
