Fire Alarm Service Technician –

This is a full‑time, direct placement role at NuTech Fire Alarm & Security, a progressive alarm company servicing Southern California, specializing in fire alarm, life safety, and security systems. We take pride in providing reliable, code‑compliant solutions while maintaining strong customer relationships.
We are urgently seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team in the Greater Los Angeles area. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a dependable, motivated individual with a strong background in fire alarm system service and maintenance.
Responsibilities- Perform service, troubleshooting, inspections, and maintenance on commercial fire alarm systems
- Diagnose and repair technical issues with alarm panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and system wiring
- Conduct routine testing and inspections in compliance with NFPA, state, and local fire codes
- Complete accurate service tickets, inspection forms, and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships
- Work independently and manage daily service calls effectively
- Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure successful service delivery

- 2+ years of fire alarm service experience (commercial preferred)
- Familiarity with Notifier, Honeywell, Edwards, Siemens, or similar systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire alarm industry standards
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, dependable work ethic
- NICET certification (Level I or higher)
- State fire alarm license (if required)
- Experience with integrated life safety/security systems
Salary: $28–$35 per hour
