PIH Health is seeking a motivated Gastroenterology NP/PA to join our established GI team. This position focuses on outpatient consults and follow‑ups, with occasional post‑procedure inpatient rounding and review of CCPP intake for direct colonoscopy scheduling.

Experience:
Utilize a unified EMR system across the network, making coordination with specialists efficient and streamlined.
The Gastroenterology NP will evaluate and manage patients by performing detailed histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing individualized treatment plans with the supervising physician, diagnosing and managing GI conditions such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, dysphagia, constipation, diarrhea, GI bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and other GI‑related disorders, providing pre‑ and post‑procedure care, education, and discharge planning, participating in hospital rounds as needed, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while engaging in quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
RequiredSkills And Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as an NP or PA‑C
- GI clinical nursing or APP experience preferred
- Strong clinical decision‑making and patient management skills
- Commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered care
- Current California APP certification
- Master’s degree from an accredited APP program
- Minimum three (3) years related healthcare experience
- Evidence of continuing education and professional development
- BLS certification
Compensation Range: $120K‑150K Base Annually
