Lead Rental HVAC Branch Associate – Downey, CAThis role is for a Lead Rental HVAC Branch Associate who is under moderate supervision. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical problems and issues, determining technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommending actions to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the branch
- Handle customer inquiries, dispatch technicians, provide support for delivery and installs
- Perform job site surveys as needed
- Execute job site deliveries, pick‑ups and equipment installation of new/rental portable A/C and heating equipment
- Work under moderate supervision to provide product and technical support
- Conduct technical training and product briefing with customers
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend solutions to customers
- Ensure the fleet and required accessories are cleaned, maintained, organized and ready to rent
- Maintain the warehouse and trucks for optimal efficiency
- Complete and submit all required paperwork – order write‑ups, rental/sales agreements per policy
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years customer service
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb 10 ft ladder
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort using hand tools
